Sisters of Hope Corporation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by the Scott sisters, Gladys and Jamie. Their journey began after serving nearly sixteen years of a double life sentence—a period during which they experienced firsthand the profound injustices of today’s prison system.
Despite the challenges they faced, the sisters transformed their trauma into a beacon of hope. Today, their legacy is dedicated to improving conditions for women in prison and supporting the families impacted by incarceration, with a special focus on women and girls.
In honor of Jamie, who passed away on November 9, 2021, her relentless fight for justice and reform lives on through every initiative at Sisters of Hope. Our mission is to advocate for humane treatment, systemic change, and lasting support for those affected by the penal system.
